Pantene In-Shower Foam Conditioner Review
In this post I will be reviewing something a new concept (to me anyway!) so when I saw this I had to pick one up and give it a go. So the idea behind this product is that it’s a conditioner for your hair, same as your usual ones you would use after shampooing, but the main differences with this one are that one – it comes out as a foam and not your standard liquid, and two – because it is a foam, it’s more aerated and so more lightweight. I decided to pick up the one for coloured hair as my hair has been coloured and is really…

Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo
This review will be on the Ultimate Blends Shampoo by Garnier. It was first recommended to me by a work colleague and I’m all for recommendations so obviously I purchased it as soon as I could. The one I picked up was the one for dry/dull hair which has argan and camellia oils in it and is also paraben free which is a huge bonus too. It appealed to me straight away as the packaging is really lovely. It’s not too girlie or over-done, just nice and simple but with a bright eye-catching colour. Within the range they have others for coloured hair and other various ones with different coloured…

AreaH2O Shampoo and Conditioner review
In this post I will be doing a review of two products from a brand called AreaH2O, being a shampoo and conditioner duo*. I can honestly say I have never tried a hair care range like this before! I will quote a section from the back of the box, as that explains how this range is different to other ranges out there: “Metal ions, present in all types of water, react with shampoo to form mineral deposits that cling to your hair. AreaH2O shampoo is designed to act as a magnet, attracting mineral ions and allowing you to wash them away far more easily. This means your hair will feel…

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo, Conditioner and Blow-out Spray
In this post I decided to do a review of three products from the John Frieda Luxurious Volume range, being the shampoo*, the conditioner*, and a volumising blow-dry spray* called the “fine to full blow-out spray”. Having tried quite a few of the John Frieda hair products now I am fast becoming quite a big fan of them! You can get more information about these products from the John Frieda website here, or for a link to Boots where you can buy them you can click here 🙂 My favourite product out of these three items would have to be the Fine to full blow-out spray! Normally I avoid sprays…

Tangle Teezer Review
In this post I will be doing a review of one of the best hair tools/brushes that I have ever used. No joke. It’s amazing. When I first heard about the tangle teezer I never felt the need to rush out and buy one and didn’t really understand what all the hype was about, it just looked like a cheap plastic brush with an over enthusiastic price tag so it really didn’t interest me at all… How many times do we get told not to jump to conclusions about products without having tried them? All the time. And do we still do it all the time? All the time. The…

Save The Blow Dry Shower Cap Review
This post is a hair related one, where I will be reviewing the Save The Blow Dry Shower Cap*. This is a product I came across a while ago and really intrigued me from the start and I shall explain why in this post shortly. In complete honesty, I thought all shower caps were the same and that there couldn’t be that much variation between them, which is probably still fairly true, but with this one it is different. As many of you already know I have long hair, and as much as it’s quite fine in texture, I have quite a lot of it and I find that…

John Frieda Frizz ease Shampoo and Conditioner Review (+ Curl Enhancing Oil)
TodayI will be doing a review on the John Frieda Frizz-ease Hydrating shampoo and conditioner duo*. A few months ago I did a review on the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, which I also do like, but I think I prefer the frizz ease range! As far as “drugstore/highstreet” shampoos and conditioners go, I am impressed with these! Usually with my hair care I prefer the higher end products and brands, such as Redken and Ojon, but, these two products here actually do feel more premium than not which I like. The scent from them both is nice but nothing special really. I like the fact that they…

Redken Clear Moisture Shampoo Review
A couple of months ago I did a post on the Redken Smooth Lock shampoo which I adore. After going through two bottles of the Smooth Lock shampoo by Redken I decided to try a different shampoo in their range the next time I was needing one, and the one I decided to go for was the Clear Moisture shampoo. Packaging wise I prefer this shampoo as it’s a really lovely, fresh, clean blue colour (as opposed to the brown of the Smooth Lock), and the smell is different but just as lovely, but shampoo wise, I prefer the Smooth Lock for my hair. This shampoo is described as light…

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray
I am always on the lookout for new thickening/volumising hair sprays and other hair products, as my hair is long and quite fine, and so can sit quite flat if just left. I first heard about the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray via blogs and youtube, so thought I would look into it more as it sounded like something I may have been interested in, the only thing that put me off was the price really, as it’s around £21.50 for a 250ml bottle… but a few weeks ago in Elle magazine they were giving away a travel size bottle of it for free, so I thought I would give…

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner
In this post I will be doing a review on the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo* and Conditioner*. As some of you may have guessed from previous posts, I really love my hair care and hair styling products and I am always trying out new things. I have tried these out for a while before reviewing as I do with all products, not just after the first use as I find that you generally need to give products a chance to work for you. This is the moisturising shampoo and conditioner from the brilliant brunette range, but they have various other ranges on their website so will most likely to have…
