About Me

This page is just a bit about me and my website! I decided to start a blog to do reviews on books and beauty products as reviews are always something I try to find before purchasing new products (well, most of the time). I always find it is nice to get a different mix of reviews from different people on different sites/blogs.

Having said that, I am a big lover of Subscription Beauty Boxes, as they are very affordable, and you get to try lots of products, generally not even having heard of the brands, let alone the individual products! My reviews will be in items I have received out my subscription boxes, products I buy after hearing good reviews, products I buy on a total whim, and the same goes for books – apart from the subscription boxes part obviously…. although how cool would that be?!

As for books, I will read pretty much anything fiction! I love YA, Dystopia, Romance, Fantasy, Contemporary, Crime, Thriller, Mystery, Historical Fiction etc etc… as long as it is good, I will read it! I will add in now, I will also do reviews on products/books I don’t like as much or things that didn’t work for me, as I feel they are just as important!

I decided fairly early on that I will also be doing hauls, tags and various other update posts, for example what I am currently reading, my nail polish colour that day, products I am about to start trying, etc etc. Just mixes it up a bit!

Everything I talk about will be tagged and the post will be in the corresponding category.

The tags are on the right hand side in a cloud and I also have two directories at the top, one for products where all products reviewed/talked about will be linked under their starting letter, and a directory of authors… pretty self explanatory I feel! Just makes things quick and easy if there is something specific you are searching for.
