Too Faced La Creme Colour Drenched Lip Cream review

This post will be my review on the Too Faced La Creme Colour Drenched Lip Creams. I own two colours/shades of this product, being Naughty Nude and Sweet Maple – both colours I love. The packaging is so pretty, as is most of the packaging from the Too Faced range. The outer boxes are a light pink shade with some very pretty detailing all over. The lipstick tube itself is a lovely gold shade. It does feel a little cheap and plastic, but I do still like it, and at the end of the day as much as pretty packaging is a lovely thing to have, it shouldn’t the main…

    Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Review

This post will be a review of the Match Perfection Foundation by Rimmel.  This match perfection foundation by Rimmel is not a new one, but it is one I have only quite recently started using and it’s actually a lot better than I was first expecting. I picked it up a few months back when it was on a special offer price in one of the high street stores, and it’s been one of the best “budget” finds I have ever used. The shade I use is 100 Ivory, the second shade in the range, and even on my naturally pale skin tone, it blends in beautifully with my skin…

Yves Saint Laurent Perfume – Manifesto

Having not had the best time over the last few weeks I took a short break from blogging, but needless to say as much as I needed the break, I missed it and everyone! So I am back 🙂 Hopefully from now I should be back blogging a few times a week so look forward to chatting to everyone again, along with reading and replying to all comments left. For today’s post I have decided to do a perfume review of one of my favourites, Manifesto by Yves Saint Laurent. This fragrance was launched last year in 2012 around August time, so as much as it isn’t a brand new…

    Christmas Wear Wishlist*

I really enjoy reading peoples wishlist posts as it’s really nice to see what people pick out as being their favourites of the seasons, and just to get new outfit ideas/inspiration, plus it’s also good to see what stores are selling what kinds of items for that particular season! I have decided to join in with doing these kinds of posts, but today’s one will be with a bit of a difference as all the items will be from New look. Here is a link to their homepage if you want to have a browse yourself –  New Look 🙂 I have not made this up into an exact outfit,…

Smashbox Lipstick in Primrose – Review

I bought this lipstick from smashbox a couple of weeks ago and the shade of it totally caught my eye as being a lovely pink/nude colour, and it has fast become my favourite nude/natural lip colour. This is the first ever lipstick by Smashbox I have tried, but I can say I would be more than happy to buy more if they are all as lovely as this one. These Smashbox lipsticks retail at £15.50 so are in the higher end spectrum within the costmetics world, so for the price I had high expectations, but I do feel you get your monies worth with this product and it is worth…

Save The Blow Dry Shower Cap Review

This post is a hair related one, where I will be reviewing the Save The Blow Dry Shower Cap*. This is a product I came across a while ago and really intrigued me from the start and I shall explain why in this post shortly.   In complete honesty, I thought all shower caps were the same and that there couldn’t be that much variation between them, which is probably still fairly true, but with this one it is different. As many of you already know I have long hair, and as much as it’s quite fine in texture, I have quite a lot of it and I find that…

    Nivea in-shower Body Moisturiser Review

Today’s blog post review is on the Nivea in-shower body moisturiser. This is a really affordable product at just £3.40 for a large 400 ml bottle. You can get it either for dry skin, or for normal skin (which is the one I got). I got this product due to having heard good things from a friend at work about it. When I first picked it up, in all honesty, I was completely confused as to who this product was aimed at, or what it was supposed to do! This is because on the back it says to use AFTER using your normal shower gel/body wash (so isn’t for cleaning…

John Frieda Frizz ease Shampoo and Conditioner Review (+ Curl Enhancing Oil)

TodayI will be doing a review on the John Frieda Frizz-ease Hydrating shampoo and conditioner duo*. A few months ago I did a review on the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, which I also do like, but I think I prefer the frizz ease range! As far as “drugstore/highstreet” shampoos and conditioners go, I am impressed with these! Usually with my hair care I prefer the higher end products and brands, such as Redken and Ojon, but, these two products here actually do feel more premium than not which I like. The scent from them both is nice but nothing special really. I like the fact that they…

    Beauty UK Blushes Review

This post will be reviewing the Beauty UK blushes. I picked these two blushes up from Superdrug for £3.99 each, but they were on an offer of buy one get one half price, so it averaged out I got them for around £3 each. Bargain. In all honesty I had never even heard of the brand Beauty UK before, but these blushes caught my eye as they are baked, and very shimmery. I decided to get two colours, Rose Rouge 2 and Halo 3. Rose Rouge 2 is a lovely pink shade with a little shimmer, and Halo 3 in all honesty, is more of a highlighter. The blushes from…

A short guide: Gift ideas – TheWinterProject

This post is aimed at Christmas gifts, but of course is not exclusive to just this time of the year and can be used throughout the rest of the year for Birthdays or any other gift giving times! Instead of picking out exact things I have decided to do a more general one, as that way it can be useful for people down the line! I will start off with the girlie ones. One of my favourite things to buy girls is perfume. It is such a luxurious gift, and less and less people seem to be buying their own perfume these days. So many people say they are waiting…
