This post is most of a guest post I put on Jess’s blog a few months ago as a guest post, but I have decided to modify it a little and add in new pics, so that all the readers of my blog can get the benefits and information out of this post also.

This review is of the Biotherm hand cream. I will put up a picture of the standard one first, but also a picture below of the Charity Edition one I got as the packaging is really pretty.

Biotherm Hand Cream Charity Edition

I love hand creams, I really feel it is important to keep your skin hydrated and moisturised as much as you can, especially on your hands considering what they get put through on a daily basis! Plus they are also the first tell-tale sign of aging, so we need to keep them as nourished as possible.

I also work in the Fragrance industry and perfume ages the skin, so I am always very careful about hand creams, and do use them religiously.

In a hand cream I generally like ones that don’t have a strong scent, don’t feel too thick and greasy, sink in fast so you aren’t stuck not able to do anything, but make your hands feel moisturised and smooth instantly, without breaking the bank, and for me this hand cream ticks all the boxes!

It retails (straight off of the Biotherm website) at £10.50 for a 50ml tube, but a little goes a long way and I am yet to finish a tube of this (yes I have more than one, as I love it that much) and I haven’t finished one yet, and I use it all the time.

I think what I like most about this particular hand cream is how your skin feels after you use it, it feels so smooth and hydrated, without feeling oily or greasy at all (imagine trying to hold a perfume bottle after using a greasy hand cream, doesn’t sound like it would go too well), so this is the only hand cream I will use at work.

There are other hand creams out there I do also like don’t get me wrong, but I haven’t found one yet which has the same hydrtation/sinking in speed ratio! As I said I have already bought two of these, and would have no hesitation buying another when one runs out!

What I do sometimes do for a treat is put quite a thick layer of this hand treatment onto my hands and nails before bed, and then popping on a pair of cotton gloves, and leave it all to sink in overnight – you will be so pleased with the feel of your hands in the morning!

If I was to pick up on anything (although this is me being nit-picky rather than an actual complaint/negative point), the scent could be a little nicer. It’s not a bad smell or off putting at all, it just smells quite plain like any generic hand cream/treatment could smell.

I hope you enjoyed this post and at the very least found it helpful! If you have tried this hand cream before then let us know in the comments below!
