Urban Decay Palette – beauty with an edge!

Hi Kammi’s readers it’s Jess from over at www.dungarees-and-donuts.co.uk, here to bring you a guest post I recently came across Kammi’s blog during a beauty bloggers chat and I loved it and when she asked if anyone was interested in doing a guest post I was delighted to do one, it’s a little late because I’ve been so busy the last week but here you are Kammi and readers!

I decided I would review the Urban Decay Pallet which I recieved  a few months ago as a present I have only used three of the shades- Gravity which is a deep purple with lots of glitter, Loaded which as a gorgeous emerald colour and Mushroom which a glittery silver- there is also deeper which is a brown-yellow shade which I haven’t tested because my eyes have a yellow tint already, evidence which is blue and blue does not match my eyes at all and a dark gray called ace. Although i’m sure they are all great colours they just wouldn’t suit me. As it was a present I had to look how much it cost it was £25.00 from Debenhams when looking for the price I wasn’t expecting it to be as much as it was but it is a pretty luxury eyeshadow pallet- the eyeshadows themselves give a great coverage and tend to last for hours on end, I love the glitter in them it just gives them an extra edge I think the colours that I use suit me either on their own or I tend to mix mushroom with gravity to make a fantastic dark eye look, as I wear a lot of black eye liner I decided this was a great change for me, and it really pays of- I would recommend buying the pallet if you have brown/green eyes because I think it will look too harsh with lighter eyes but it definitely look great and for the product itself it is easy to apply and I love how it brings out my eyes!

Thank you Kammi for letting me past upon your lovely blog, I hope you enjoyed this post 🙂

Over and out,

Jess
