Autumn Tag
I have decided to do this tag as Autumn/Fall is my favourite season, and I feel too many people forget about and jump straight from late summer into the Christmas season! Now I love Christmas, but we mustn’t forget about Autumn and how lovely it can be with all the cosy nights, and wonderful colours of the trees etc etc.
So I was tagged by two people, Hanna and Shiraz!
On to the questions!
1 – Favourite thing about Autumn?
I live in the UK and the winters here can be COLD, where as Autumn is a little chillier so perfect for big jumpers and dog walking on a nice fresh morning, and then in the evening you can light a candle and sit all cosy in the evenings as it gets dark earlier but not too early 🙂 Plus you can’t beat the colour of the trees!
2 – Favourite Drink?
Am I allowed two? Green tea with…. in the mornings (at the moment I am loving Green tea with Orange and Lotus flower) and then hot chocolate for the evening!
3 – Favourite Scent/Candle?
This is a tricky one – for candles I generally like fruity sweet scents, but for Autumn I would say something with a slightly spicier feel to it, like ginger or cinnamon, possibly just vanilla!
4 – Favourite Lipstick?
I would have to say I am loving Primrose by Smashbox at the moment. It’s a muted pink/brown colour, not quite a nude lip shade, but not a dark berry either – somewhere in the middle.
5 – Go-to moisturiser?
Face or body? I shall do both. Face is my Skin Perfection by Biotherm and body is the Body Shop Body Butters.
6 – Go-to colour for eyes?
I am enjoying brown/taupe shades and shades with a hint of purple/berry in them too for smoky eyes.
7 – Favourite music to listen to?
At the moment I am really loving Enya – Afer Ventus as it’s an amazing chill out song for a cosy evening!
8 – Favourite outfit to wear?
Definitely a big cosy jumper and scarves! Usually with jeans, or comfy trousers in the house.
9 – Autumn Treat?
For me it’s buying some lovely new scented candles for autumn time, because as much as I love the summer, candles feel the best with cooler nights outside when it’s darker earlier so you have more time to enjoy them.
10 – Favourite place to be?
Either (yes I am picking two again…) outside in the morning with the dog on a walk on a fresh cool morning, or on my bed blogging or reading in the evening with candles burning (not near the bed!), and some chill out music playing in the background!

October 9, 2013 at 12:00 amIt’s an Orange and Ginger one! Don’t know the brand, don’t think it was anything too special but it smells amazing! Yeah they are Elizabeth Arden, they are lovely colours for Autumn! 🙂

Just today recognized that Christmas is almost hete so I am in that mood now 🙂
